Cavefish Joins AI Wales as Strategic Partner, Founder Appointed Strategy Director

Cardiff-based AI company Cavefish has been appointed as a strategic partner of AI Wales, the national AI community for Wales with over 2,250 members. As part of the partnership, Cavefish founder and CEO Jonathan Prescott has been named Strategy Director of AI Wales CIC.

AI Wales is the Welsh Government-aligned community body representing AI practitioners, researchers, startups and enterprises across Wales. The organisation works to position Wales as a destination for ethical AI development and to support the growth of AI capabilities within Welsh businesses.

The strategic partnership will see Cavefish contribute to AI Wales initiatives including policy development, ecosystem building, and the promotion of responsible AI practices. Prescott will advise on strategy and help shape the organisation's approach to supporting AI adoption across Welsh industry sectors.

Cavefish develops EchoDepth, a platform that analyses communication patterns to help organisations understand how high-stakes communications are likely to be perceived. The company's focus on governance, consent, and ethical deployment aligns with AI Wales' commitment to responsible AI development.
