Cardiff AI Startup Reaches 13 Industry Awards in Under Three Years

Cardiff-based AI company Cavefish has received its thirteenth industry award since founding in September 2023, establishing the company as one of the most recognised AI startups in Wales.

The awards span multiple categories including fintech, technology, leadership, cybersecurity, and digital innovation — reflecting the broad applicability of Cavefish's EchoDepth platform for emotional risk measurement across enterprise contexts.

Notable recognitions include winning the ECSO Cyber Solution Days presentation award for defence applications, the UK FinTech Awards Best Use of AI, the Cardiff Life Awards Digital Business of the Year, and Jonathan Prescott's shortlisting for IoD Director of the Year in the Technology category.

The company has also completed two accelerator programmes — the Fintech Wales Accelerator and the ECSO Cyberhive programme — and been selected as a strategic partner of AI Wales, with Prescott serving as Strategy Director.
