EchoDepth vs Gong and Salesforce

Gong and Salesforce score deals across your pipeline. EchoDepth reads the meeting itself - how excited each buyer was, how firmly they committed, and what to do next to move them. Most teams need both: one to run the pipeline, one to understand the conversations inside it.

Gong and Salesforce information is based on their public documentation (help.gong.io and help.salesforce.com), checked on 27 September 2026. Contact Gong or Salesforce directly for current pricing and capability details.

What EchoDepth reads that deal scores do not

Are they excited enough to continue?

One point per time each buyer speaks, showing where they leaned in and where they held back - and the moment they will remember most.

How firmly did they commit?

A trust line from the buyer's own words. It drops when they hedge, qualify or distance themselves, and rises when they speak plainly.

Each buyer, not just the deal

A separate likelihood for each person in the room, so you know who is carrying the deal and who needs more work.

What moves it next

Next steps ranked by how much each is likely to lift the deal, and a prediction that updates as they happen.

Questions

What is the difference between EchoDepth and Gong?

Gong is a revenue intelligence platform. It records calls and meetings, syncs with the CRM and emails, and its deal likelihood score ranks each open deal against your other open deals using 300+ signals and your company's historical deal outcomes. EchoDepth reads a single sales meeting in depth: how excited each buyer was, turn by turn, how firmly they committed in their own words, and which next steps are most likely to move the deal. Gong tells you which deals in the pipeline are healthy; EchoDepth tells you why a particular meeting went the way it did and what to do next.

What is the difference between EchoDepth and Salesforce Einstein?

Einstein Opportunity Scoring gives each Salesforce opportunity a 1 to 99 score for how likely it is to be won, based on CRM data such as stage velocity and engagement, and Einstein Conversation Insights summarises recorded calls. EchoDepth works at the level of the conversation itself - buyer excitement and commitment language, per buyer - and results can be pushed back into Salesforce opportunity records through the EchoDepth API.

Can EchoDepth replace Gong or Salesforce?

No, and it is not designed to. Gong and Salesforce run the pipeline: call capture, CRM, forecasting across hundreds of deals. EchoDepth is a layer on top that reads the meetings you already record. Transcripts can come from Gong, Teams, Zoom or any recorder, and results can go back into Salesforce.

How does EchoDepth predict whether a buyer will go ahead?

EchoDepth reads the meeting three independent times and reports the middle likelihood, with a confidence level and range - reads that disagree lower the confidence and widen the range. Each buyer gets their own read. Alongside it, an excitement line shows where each buyer leaned in or held back, and a trust line shows how plainly and firmly they spoke. The prediction updates as next steps are completed and things happen after the meeting.
